LIGHT
Shedding Light on Unconcious Bias and Invisible Racism.
This collaborative initiative brought together organizations from five European countries: France (LICRA), Greece (KMOP), Italy (CSC Danilo Dolci), Poland (CWEP), and the Netherlands, and was funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program. The project aimed to strengthen the capacity of youth work to recognize and effectively respond to unconscious bias and invisible racism, ultimately promoting inclusivity across European society.
Unconscious biases contribute to discrimination, shaping young people’s actions and fostering invisible racism. The LIGHT project helped both youth and youth workers understand these mechanisms and take meaningful action against them.
The project included workshops, focus groups, capacity-building cycles, and youth activities, all aimed at increasing awareness and equipping young people with practical skills.

The MOOC (Massive Open Online Course)
As part of LIGHT, a MOOC was developed for youth workers, covering:

Project methodologies – including Role Playing, Theater of the Oppressed, storytelling, and other non-formal learning techniques for youth work.
Practical application of the developed youth work tools.
The MOOC is freely available for youth workers and provides concrete guidance to enhance anti-bias and inclusive practices.
