C’est le ton qui fait la panique
In this magazine, we analyze the consequences of language, which tends to rewrite history to suit political and ideological interests.
This issue is particularly sensitive when it comes to the recent history of our country. A popular adage says that "history is always written by the victors." But is this always truly the case? And if so, how does this influence our perception of the past and our construction of the future?
To discuss this, two guests will be invited:
- Jean-Marie Vianney Kazunguzibwa, history teacher at the Higher Institute of Pedagogy of Bukavu
- Maghene Deba, journalist and political analyst.
