Habari za Mahali—literally “news from our place,” is a humanitarian media project that delivers reliable information on aid and community needs in conflict-affected areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through local radio and digital channels.

Habari za Mahali is an active communication initiative that provides reliable and neutral information on humanitarian aid and local needs in conflict-affected areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Through a network of local radio stations, digital platforms, and more than 100 journalists, the project produces and shares daily news bulletins in French and Swahili while strengthening community media. By both informing communities and amplifying their needs, Habari za Mahali connects local populations, media, and humanitarian actors, contributing to improved access to information, greater trust, and stronger social cohesion.
