“Cross-border dialogues”
Cross-border dialogue sessions bringing together people to address shared challenges and build trust and cooperation.
DRC, UGANDA, RWANDA, BURUNDI
Borders can divide communities, but shared culture, traditions, and values can bring them back together.
Dialogues Transfrontaliers connects communities across Rwanda and Burundi and across DRC and Uganda through conversations that matter: community discussions, expert-led symposia, and radio debates that keep dialogue alive even when political and security challenges make it difficult. Following regional instability in 2025, the program expanded to additional cross-border areas, ensuring no community was left without a space to connect.
By combining in-person and remote exchanges, Dialogues Transfrontaliers helps communities maintain connections, rebuild trust, and work together toward peaceful solutions.
